Sepia Ragdolls are very rare. They are born with color, a rich deeper color than the mink. The Sepia gene dates back to the original Ragdoll line from Ann Baker in 1966. Her cat named, Buckwheat, carried the Sepia gene. Sepias have the darkest and softest fur of all of the Ragdolls. The Sepias have the same color varieties as the Traditionals. Sepias are born with blue eyes and dark fur which darkens with age. The eye color of an adult Sepia is typically a range from emerald green to aqua blue or grey.
